Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka, who was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) she is the child of Sergey. Sergey, her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles, including an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She has won two other Majors in this specialty including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. She also achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Women's doubles only had four teams achieve this feat. World singles rankings rose up to the top spot on January 20, 2023. She rose up to the top of the rankings for doubles the year following, having triumphing the doubles title in Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player to achieve success in the field. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of 2019 in 2018 and through the closing. Dieter Kindlmann was her trainer from the month of August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has been coaching her since the year 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
